G.I. Genze Dendrological Garden

Dendrological Garden named after G.I. Genze is situated on Krasny Putej Street in Omsk. Established in 1948, it is a regional nature monument. It features plants adapted to the harsh local conditions due to G.I. Genze's work. Managed by his successor Herbert Ivanovich Genze from 1965 to 1993, the collection includes rare tree and shrub species such as amur corktree, manchurian walnut and maackia lilac. A memorial plaque commemorates Herbert Ivanovich in the garden.
