City Beginning Park

The "City Beginning" Park in Novosibirsk, which appeared on the Ob embankment for the city's 110th anniversary in 2003, is dedicated to the history of the settlement's foundation. Its main historical object is the preserved span of the first railway bridge across the Ob, the construction of which in 1893 marked the beginning of the city. The second memorial object of the park is the monument to Alexander III, and in September 2003, a unique color-music fountain was opened here, installed directly on the river 40 meters from the shore.
