Novosibirsk Zoo

Novosibirsk Zoo named after Rostislav Alexandrovich Shilo is one of Russia's largest zoos, founded on August 29, 1947 as the first in Siberia. The zoo's collection includes approximately 12,000 animals of about 790 species. It actively cooperates with more than 150 zoos in over 44 countries worldwide and is a member of international organizations EARAZA and WAZA.
