Novosibirsk State Art Museum

Novosibirsk State Art Museum is situated on Krasny Prospekt, 5. Its collection includes icons from the 16th century to early 20th century and works by Nikolay Roerich, with landscapes of the Himalayas predominating among them. The collection comprises approximately 60 pieces of the artist, previously owned by Tretyakov Gallery, Russian Museum, Hermitage and GMIIm A.S. Pushkin. The museum building was constructed in 1926 by architect A.D. Kryachkov.
