Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre

Novosibirsk Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre is located at Krasny Prospekt, 36. It is Russia's largest musical theater with a big hall for 1774 seats and a concert hall for 375 seats. The dome with a diameter of 60 meters and a height of 35 meters was the first in Europe with a complex structure without supporting elements. The theatre received the Golden Medal of the World Exhibition in Paris in 1937 and is a federal historical and architectural monument. Its first performance took place in May 1945 with the opera "Иван Сусанин".
