Novosibirsk Academic Youth Theatre "Globe"

Novosibirsk Academic Youth Theatre "Globe" is located at Kamenskaya Street, 1a. Its building, built in 1971 and commissioned in 1984, is clad with light marble from Sayano-Shushensky deposit. The architecture of the theatre highlights the image of a sailing ship through its oval floor plan, window-portholes and cantilevered second-floor overhang. The stage is equipped with two rotating circles, and structurally uses complex cable net covering. The theatre has a deep stage with fly tower and two pockets.
