N.K. Rerih Museum

N.K. Rerih Museum in Novosibirsk is located at Kommunisticheskaya Street, 38. It is the first museum in Siberia dedicated to the Rerikh family—Nikolay Konstantsinovich, his wife Sofiya Nikolaevna and son Yuri Nikanorovich. The exhibition includes personal belongings, paintings and photos of the family members as well as items brought from Central Asian expedition. Among exhibits are works by N.D. Spirina and watercolors with belongings of B.N. Abramov. The museum grounds feature Peace Bell and St. Sergius Chapel. Built through public donations, it was officially opened on October 7, 2007.
