Museum on Embankment

The Museum on the Embankment is located in Novosibirsk, Obskaya Street, 4. Its permanent exhibition tells about peasant settlement of the Ob region. Completing the exhibit is the history of residents of Bugrino district through oral narratives. Among the exhibits are the earliest signs of GTO dating back to the 1930s. The building is an historical monument situated in the "City Beginning" park. A separate exhibition "Time of Money" shows the connection between the history of money circulation with the city's history and includes Siberian coins. Also displayed is an exhibition of materials from the Neolithic era.
