Yuri V. Kondratyuk Cosmonautics Museum

The Kondratyuk Museum of Cosmonautics is located on Sovetskaya Street, 24 in Novosibirsk. The building, constructed in 1924 for "Soyuzkhleb" office, was where Yuri Kondratyuk worked from 1927 to 1930. After restoration, the museum reopened on January 30, 2025. It features an exhibition in four thematic halls dedicated to the life and achievements of Kondratyuk, whose real name was Alexander Shargey. This is the sole Russian museum entirely devoted to the memory of the outstanding scientist-astronaut.
