Museum of History and Culture of Siberian and Far Eastern Peoples

The Museum of History and Culture of Siberian and Far Eastern Peoples is situated on Zolotodolskaya Street in Novosibirsk. It showcases exhibits of medieval Churchien culture, ancient Altai pastoralists, and Neolithic archaeological complexes from Angara. Separate halls focus on Orthodox culture of Russian Siberians and ethnography of Altay tribes including shamanism and paganism. The total area of the modern exhibition complex exceeds 500 sq. m. The exhibit is displayed on a floor designated by the institution after its construction in 1980.
