Museum of History and Culture of Siberian and Far Eastern Peoples

The Museum of History and Culture of Siberian and Far Eastern Peoples is located in Novosibirsk at Zolotodolskaya Street, 4. It occupies a separate building of the laboratory-exhibition complex of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography SB RAS with an area exceeding 500 square meters including exhibition, collections and restoration laboratory. The museum was created under the initiative of academician A.P. Okladnikov. The museum exhibits artifacts covering epochs from the Paleolithic to modern spiritual culture of Siberian and Far Eastern peoples. Visitors can register in advance through the excursion department.
