Monument to Glory

The Monument to Glory in Novosibirsk is situated on Stanislavsky Street in the Slavy Square. The monument, unveiled in 1967, consists of five pylons dividing the area into ceremonial and memorial zones. On the front side of the pylons there is depicted the history of war from conscription through peacetime. Names of Novosibirsk residents who perished during World War II are engraved on the pylons; the central pylon features a relief of a grieving mother. In 2020, the monument and adjacent park underwent restoration and upgrading as part of a federal project. Eternal flame was lit from Chkalov Metallurgical Plant.
