Большой новосибирский планетарий имени Анны Кикиной

The large Novosibirsk planetarium is situated on Kluch-Kamyshensky plateau. Construction began in 2007 after selection of the site by mayor Vladimir Gorodetskiy. Igor Vladimirovich Popovsky was the project architect. Inside there is a Foucault tower with a 15-meter pendulum. The planetarium named after Anna Kikina opened in 2012. Star hall accommodates up to 120 people. It is the largest planetarium east of Ural mountains.
