Знаменsky Cathedral

The Знаменский Cathedral is located in Veliky Novgorod on Ilinaya Street, 26. The cathedral was built in the 17th century near the Church of the Transfiguration of Jesus. Unique interior paintings from the same period have been preserved inside. The building is part of the Novgorod Museum-Reserve and represents an important historical monument.
