Znamensky Cathedral

The Znamensky Cathedral is situated in Veliki Novgorod on Ilinya Street, 26. It was constructed in the 17th century near the Church of the Transfiguration of Jesus. Uniquely preserved interior paintings from the same era can be found within. The structure is included in the Novgorod Museum-Reserve and serves as an important historical landmark.
