Yaroslavovo Dvorishche and Ancient Market

Yaroslavovo Dvorishche and Ancient Market are situated in Veliky Novgorod. This complex includes Gostiny Dvor Arcade and monuments from the 12th to 18th centuries. On the premises there are churches, among which stands out the Nikolo-Dvorishchensky Cathedral founded in 1113. There are also a Hanseatic sign and fountain installed. The site is linked to the princely court and forms part of the ancient Torg moved here by Yaroslav the Wise in the early 11th century. The object has been included in UNESCO's World Heritage List.
