Великий Новгород, Кремль, 14
In Veliky Novgorod, in the Kremlin, is located the Prince's (Granovitaya) Palace—a three-story brick building with frescoes, built between 1430-1440s in the style of Western Gothic. It is the sole civilian German Gothic construction in Russia. The building served as the residence of the archbishop of Novgorod and a venue for major city events. Today it houses exhibitions "Jewelry Art from the 6th to 17th Centuries" and "Old Russian Decorative and Applied Arts." Among the exhibits are valuable church relics and eucharistic vessels.
