Saint Procopius Church

Saint Procopius Church situated on Nikolskaya Street, 5a in Veliky Novgorod was included in UNESCO's World Heritage List since 1992. Built in 1529, it is an architectural monument reflecting the interaction between Novgorodian and Moscow architectural traditions. The construction order came from Moscow merchant Dmitry Ivanovich Syrkov. During the 2023-2024 restoration, the church has been updated as part of the national project "Culture". The church has a crypt and is located to the south of the Nikola-Dvorishchensky cathedral.
