Simeon the Godbearer Church in Zverinskiy Monastery

The Church of Saint Simon the Godbearer is situated in Zverino Monastery of Veliky Novgorod. Built in stone by the end of the 1460s on the site of an earlier wooden vowed church constructed in 1467 during a plague outbreak, it features a small two-story volume and is part of Novgorod's Museum-Reserve. Inside, there are unique fifteenth-century frescoes with the Minology cycle as their main theme.
