Church of Annunciation on the City Rampart

The Church of Annunciation on Gorodische in Veliky Novgorod is a 14th century architectural monument partially preserved after destruction during war. In 2016-2018 conservation works were carried out along with museumification of the ancient church from 1103. Inside there is an exhibition featuring archaeological finds, photos and restoration projects. The temple was reconstructed multiple times: at the end of the 14th - early 15th centuries it was repainted; in the 18th-19th centuries it underwent another reconstruction.
