Troitsky Excavation

Troitsky Excavation site is located on Troitskaya Street in Veliky Novgorod and excavations have been conducted since 1973, named after the nearby Church of the Holy Trinity. Over 400 birch bark letters, an ancient wax book known as the Novgorod Codex, seals belonging to Prince Yaroslav the Wise, five-stringed gusli and two coin hoards were discovered during the research. During summer, there is an exhibition called "Theater of Time."
