Sophia Square

Sophia Square is situated in the historical center of Veliky Novgorod, near Novgorod Kremlin and the ensemble of Sophia Cathedral. It is the main city square, included in the zone of UNESCO world heritage site. Here there is an Art Museum, as well as most tourist routes begin from here. The square is connected to the architectural complex of the kremlin and forms an important part of Novgorod's historical appearance.
