Sophia Embankment

Sofiyskaya Embankment is situated near Novgorod Kremlin and runs along the Volkhov River. It offers views of the Kremlin walls and towers, as well as the Great Bridge Museum and Victory Monument. The embankment connects to a pedestrian bridge over the river and forms part of the historical area of the World Heritage Site of Novgorod. It extends along the left bank of the Volkhov on the Sofia side of the city.
