Novgorod Academic Drama Theatre named after F.M. Dostoevsky

The Novgorod Academic Drama Theatre named after F.M. Dostoevsky is located at Great Street, 14. Established in 1825, it is one of Russia's oldest theaters. Since 1999, it has held the status of "academic." As of January 2023, it is undergoing reconstruction. The architectural building is recognized as the city's main attraction of modern times. In 1987, the theater moved to its current structure designed by architect Somov.
