Niccolo-Dvorishchensky Cathedral

Nikolo-Dvorishchenskiy Cathedral built between 1113-1136 by Prince Mstislav Vladimirovich dedicated to Saint Nikolay the Wonderworker. Included on UNESCO's World Heritage List since 1992 it survived occupation during which it served as barracks. After restoration supported by Hanseatic cities an exhibition about its research and restoration was opened inside. Since September 1962 the church has been part of Novgorod Museum.
