Great Bridge Museum

The museum is situated at Sofiyskaya Embankment, 1 in Veliky Novgorod. It is dedicated to the history of the ancient stationary bridge of the city, which was reconstructed since the 12th century. A modern pedestrian bridge crosses the Volkhov River nearby. The exhibition provides detailed descriptions of the bridge's role in the life of the Novgorod Republic and underwater archaeological research conducted since 2005. The building dates back to the 19th century.
