Writing Museum

The Museum of Literacy in Novgorod is situated in Likhudov's Corpus of Novgorod Kremlin. It introduces visitors to the history of literacy and book culture of the region, focusing particularly on the school of brothers Likhudi. A special place is taken up by an exhibition dedicated to birch bark gramots which serve as an important source of information about everyday life in Ancient Rus.
