Novgorod Kremlin Battle Walk

The defensive walkway of Novgorod Kremlin runs along the fortress walls. Here there is an exhibition on the second level of Dvortsovaya Tower telling about battles of Novgorodians. From the observation deck views open up to Torgovy Side, River Volkhov and Yaroslavl Court. Below remain remnants of embrasures for artillery cannons. One can walk through part between towers from Vladimirskaya to Dvortsovaya. Cossacks were the main defense of the city during this period.
