Central Exhibition Hall Manezh

Central Exhibition Hall "Manege" is situated on Manezhnaya Square in Moscow. The building was designed by Augustin Betancourt and originally called Exerzizhaus. The first celebration took place here on November 30, 1817. After being restored following a fire in the 19th century its facade was designed by Osip Bove, with construction supervised by Lev Karbouniov and Karl Lamoni. In 2004 it suffered significant damage from a fire but was subsequently reconstructed.
