Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts

The State Tretyakov Museum of Fine Arts named after A.S. Pushkin is located in Moscow at Volkhonka Street, house 12. Founded in 1912 under the name Museum of Fine Arts. Its collection includes works of foreign art, ancient Egyptian, Greek and Roman antiquities, as well as paintings by impressionists, post-impressionists and avant-gardists. The museum building, built in 1904 by architect Roman Klein, is part of a large-scale reconstruction program called "Museum City". The museum's fund numbers over 700,000 exhibits.
