Troitse-Sergieva Lavra Drying Tower

The drying tower is situated on the eastern wall of St.Troica Sergiev Monastery, being part of its historical fortified enclosure. The structure belongs to the protected ensemble of the monastery and serves as an important element of its architectural appearance. Named after its functional purpose — drying agricultural products. It stands between the Assumption Gates and the Otuchya Tower.
