Serapionova Palace

Serapionova Palace is situated near Troitse-Sergiyeva Lavra, attached to the southern facade of the Troitsky Cathedral. Known for its reliquaries and historical significance: according to legend, it was built on the site where St. Sergius lived. Inside the palace there is an iconostasis which was gilted in 1853. It is part of the architectural ensemble of the lavra.
