Pyotr and Paul Church Sergiev Posad

Stone Church of the Resurrection of Christ built in the 1810s is situated at 1st Army Street, 17 in Sergiyev Posad. The main altar was consecrated in 1818. The church is associated with tragic events of the siege of Troitse-Sergiyeva monastery from 1608 to 1610, commemorating the fallen defenders. Currently, the church operates as the Resurrection Hostel of Laurel and includes the Pyotropavlovsky annex.
