Troitse-Sergieva Lavra Bell Tower

The bell tower of Troitse-Sergiev Monastery stands on the northern side of the Cathedral Square. It was built between 1741 and 1770 by architect D.V. Ukhtomski. The height of the bell tower is 88 meters, making it 6 meters taller than Ivan the Great Bell Tower in the Moscow Kremlin. This architectural structure completes the monastery's ensemble and is an important element of its historical appearance.
