Gethsemane Chernigovsky Hermitage Trinity-Sergius Lavra

Gefsimanskiy Chernigovskiy Skit — monastic guesthouse of St-Troickaya Sergieva Lavra founded in 1843–1844. Monastic life resumed in 1990. Underground church dedicated to Archangel Mikhail consecrated in 1851. After closure in 1921 it was used as prison and boarding school then buildings were destroyed in 1950s. Now it's a cave dwelling with narrow cells.
