Church of the Life-Giving Trinity of the New Golutvin Monastery

Kolomna, Lazareva Street, 11

The Church of the Trinity of the Living Spring of the New Golutvin Monastery in Kolomna, built in 1705, is an object of cultural heritage of federal significance. The church stands in the northwestern part of the monastery on a high substructure in simplified forms of Moscow Baroque, and its facades and staircase are painted with polychrome paints. During the restoration, the completion demolished during the years of atheism – the drum, dome, and cross – was restored on the building for the first time, and the main staircase was decorated with carved wooden posts and balusters. In the substructure of the church is the Church of Xenia, whose iconostasis with icons in the Byzantine style was painted by artist Alexander Chashkin.
