In addition to the main house, the ensemble includes a one-story kitchen wing from the early 20th century and an outbuilding, also executed in the Empire style. Opened in 1932, the museum presents the history of Kolomna from ancient times to the 20th century, and its funds contain more than 27 thousand storage units.
