Kislovskaya Almshouse
Kolomna, Oktyabrskoy Revolyutsii St, 168, 168a, 168b
The Kislovsky Almshouse in Kolomna was founded according to the will of the benefactor Cyprian Maximovich Kislov and began its work in 1854 on the income from a bank established for its maintenance. The main building of the institution is a three-story structure located deep within the site, where the lower floor with a white stone belt looks like a high plinth. The gates of the almshouse with openwork grilles and pilasters decorated with balls are executed in the style of the turn of the 18th–19th centuries. In 1899, 38 people were housed here under the supervision of the caretaker Andrey Grigoryevich Goretovsky.
