Trinity Church in Yamskaya Sloboda

The Trinity Church in the Yamskaya Sloboda of Kolomna is located at 56, Tolstikov Street. The temple ensemble was formed gradually: the bell tower was built in 1823 according to the design of architect Leontiy Karlon, the refectory was erected in 1858, and the main church building was constructed in 1868. The main patronal feasts fall on Trinity Sunday, the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos on September 21, and the day of the Prophet Elijah on August 2. Since 1902, a public library has been operating at the church, and the chapel of the Passion Icon of the Mother of God with the revered carved image "Passion" was assigned to the temple.
