Heroes Square in Novorossiysk is the city's central memorial ensemble. Here, since 1958, the Eternal Glory Flame has been lit, and since 1960, Dmitri Shostakovich's composition "Novorossiysk Chimes" is played annually. This place became the starting point for the construction and development of Novorossiysk.
