Sailor's Wife Monument

The "Wife of Sailor" Monument in Novorossiysk is located at the intersection of Nовороссийская Republic Street and Admiral Silverkov's Embankment. It symbolizes the wives and mothers of the city waiting for their husbands and sons from distant voyages. The monument was opened on August 24, 2010, designed by sculptor Alexander Suvorov and architect Alexander Izmodenov. The monument stands opposite the cruiser "Mikhail Kutuzov".
