Theater Costume Museum

The Theatre Costume Museum in Kostroma is situated at Simanovskogo Street, 10. Its exhibition features over a hundred unique theatrical costumes designed for performances at the Kostroma Drama Theatre. The museum's collection comprises more than 12,000 items. In 2006, the collection was showcased at an international theatre festival in Turkey. Since 2010, the museum has occupied its own building in the historical city center with seven exhibition halls. Among the exhibits are antique costumes made from taffeta and shot silk.
