Музей костромского дворянства (Дворянское собрание)

The Museum of Kostroma Nobility is situated in an historical building at Mira Avenue, 7 in Kostroma. The house was built in the 1780s as residential, then in the 1830s it was reconstructed for the Dukes' Assembly. After restoration in 1993, an exhibition dedicated to the life and work of local cultural figure Efim Chestnyakov opened here. The collection features paintings, documents and personal belongings of this notable individual. Original lacy iron staircase remains within the interiors.
