Tsiolkovsky Street
Новокузнецк, улица Циолковского
Tsiolkovsky Street in Novokuznetsk was named after the Russian scientist Konstantin Tsiolkovsky by a decision of the city council on February 6, 1962. In 1973, a tram line with tracks on reinforced concrete sleepers was built here, and at the intersection with Kutuzov Street there is the House of Political Education, which is now occupied by KSPI of KemSU. The same street is home to the Zenit atelier, Rostelecom, Lyceum No. 34, and a four-story building of the Children's House of Culture. Near the street, on Heroes Boulevard, the Eternal Flame was opened on May 9, 1975.
