Sotsgorod (Novokuznetsk)

The Park of Soviet Sculpture in Novokuznetsk is located between Enthusiastov Avenue and Khitarov Street and was opened in October 2013 as part of the "Sotsgorod - City of Dreams" project. On its territory, retro benches with forged cast-iron legs are installed, and at the time of opening, four sculptures were presented in the park: "Lenin," "Pioneers," "Pavka Korchagin," and "Children." A delegation of German cultural scholars studying the legacy of architect Ernst May was present at the park's opening. Enthusiastov Avenue, adjacent to the park, was the first residential and landscaped central street of the city.
