Oleg Korolenko Kuznetsk Metallurgists Arena (Kuznetsk Metallurgists Palace of Sports)
Novokuznetsk, Stroiteley Ave, 24
The Oleg Korolenko Kuznetsk Metallurgists Arena in Novokuznetsk was opened with its first match on October 1, 1984, which was attended by 12,000 spectators. After the 2020–2022 renovation, a multimedia cube for displaying information appeared at the arena, and food courts, cafes, restaurants, and souvenir shops began operating. The building houses six sports halls, 34 locker rooms, a 40-seat restaurant, and a cafeteria. The design of the indoor arena was developed by the Kuzbassgrazhdanproekt institute with the participation of Novokuznetsk architects, and the first director was Roman Ilyich Atlasov, who gave the facility the name "Kuznetsk Metallurgical Sports Palace."
