50th Anniversary of October Palace of Culture
Kemerovo, 40 Let Oktyabrya Street, 18
The Palace of Culture named after the 50th Anniversary of the October Revolution in Kemerovo is one of the largest concert venues for district, city, and regional events. During the years of the Great Patriotic War, its building housed School No. 19, which transferred the premises to a hospital, while classes in creative groups did not stop, and the Kyiv Academic Opera and Ballet Theater gave concerts for evacuees. In 1966, the institution was awarded the title "Palace of Culture of Excellent Work," and in 1967, it was awarded the Red Banner for perpetual storage. Since 2024, the institution has been functioning as a separate subdivision of the MAU "Directorate for the Development of Club Institutions," where two employees hold the title of Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation.
