Krasnaya Gorka
Kemerovo, Krasnaya Gorka Street, 17
The historical district of Krasnaya Gorka in Kemerovo received the status of a place of interest in 2011, and the main task of the museum is to preserve monuments and restore the architectural environment of 1912–1927. The territory of the district contains a bathhouse of the Kemerovo mine, which, according to the museum's version, could have been designed by the American engineer Albert Cotter. At the site of the original Volkov Obelisk, the monument "Memory of the Miners of Kuzbass" is now installed, which Ernst Neizvestny defined as a monument to heroic labor, and the exact location of the coal discovered by Volkov is known thanks to Gorelaya Gora.
