Kemerovo Mine Bathhouse
Kemerovo, Trubnaya Street, 2A
The Bathhouse of the Kemerovo Mine is located in the historical district of Krasnaya Gorka at the intersection of Suvorov and Trubnaya streets. Built in 1925, it is distinguished by a symmetrical facade with a central blade that transitions into the base of a chimney, and by the arches of the main hall, which serve as stiffening ribs for the cylindrical vault. In 1993, the building became the property of the Novosibirsk branch of OAO Moskvich-Service, and since 2001 it has been in private ownership, where car repair shops now operate. When the bathhouse was converted into a garage, the original ceramic floors were filled with concrete, causing the floor level to rise by 40–50 centimeters, and a 2002 technical inspection revealed the absence of foundations under the gravel bed.
