Zelenograd Local Lore Museum
Zelenogradsk, Lenina St, 6
The Zelenograd Local Lore Museum is located in the city center, in an old building with Gothic elements near the railway station. The villa with an area of 550 sq. m, built at the beginning of the 20th century, previously belonged to timber industrialist Israel Pik and the family of lawyer Max Krell, and since 2014 has been fully transferred to the museum. The exposition "Inhabitants of Ancient Kaup" on the second floor recreates the interior decoration of a Prussian dwelling from the Viking era, and a restored sculpture "Boy with a Fish" is installed in the square. In 2022, the museum became the winner of the "Talent of Hospitality" competition in the category "Best Tourist Attraction Object".
