Zelenogradsk City Park
Zelenogradsk, Moskovskaya St
The City Park of Zelenogradsk, located on Moskovskaya Street, was laid out in 1844 as Plantage after the dunes in the eastern part of the city were planted. Its territory features winding paths, picturesque groups of trees, and a pond with a fountain in the center, known as Tortila's Pond. The park preserves the only one of the three Imperial Oaks planted in honor of the victory at Sedan in 1871 and named after Wilhelm I, as well as a monument to Adam Mickiewicz, unveiled in 2015. In 2019, a park improvement project worth 24.7 million rubles was presented.
