Kurortny Prospekt

Zelenogradsk, Kurortnyy Ave

Kurortny Prospekt in Zelenogradsk includes historical buildings from the early 20th century, such as the house with dragons at number 19, where a wooden carved panel on the half-timbered pediment was restored in 2019. Building No. 18, sold in 2021 to StroyTekh company for more than 52 million rubles, is in an emergency condition: it lacks a roof, the entrance group is lost, and there is water in the basement, while an unfinished extension made of silicate brick from 1997 adjoins it. In the building of the former Gustav Stark pension (house 28), profiled cornices between floors, plastered window casings, and French balconies have been preserved. The avenue also hosts an exposition of the Resort Fashion Museum, accompanied by music, songs from different eras, and vintage photographs.
